Withdrawal Management
Stimulant Withdrawal Management at Home
Private, physician-supervised withdrawal care for methamphetamine and other stimulants, provided at home for patients determined to be medically appropriate.
Individualized, Physician-Directed Care
Stimulant withdrawal affects individuals differently, and the appropriate level of care depends on a person's medical history, current health, and household circumstances. A physician evaluation precedes any treatment.
For eligible patients, care may include physician oversight, in-home supervision by qualified medical professionals, medications when medically appropriate, IV fluids and hydration support, and continuous monitoring.
Every plan is individualized, and the physician remains involved throughout the course of care.
Home-based withdrawal management is not appropriate for everyone. All care is individualized and provided only after a medical evaluation determines that home-based treatment may be clinically appropriate. Patients who require emergency, hospital, or a higher level of care will be directed accordingly.
