Our Approach

A More Private Approach to Withdrawal Care.

HomeDetoxMD is a private medical practice, not a treatment facility. Care is physician-directed, individualized, and delivered in the patient's home when clinically appropriate.

Medical Care Built Around You.

Our practice works with a limited number of patients at a time. That structure allows the physician to build each plan around one person's medical circumstances rather than a fixed program, and it allows the clinical team to give sustained attention throughout the course of care.

Care begins with evaluation, not enrollment. Before any treatment is arranged, a board-certified physician reviews the individual's situation to determine whether home-based withdrawal management may be appropriate — or whether another level of care should be considered.

For patients who are eligible, treatment takes place in familiar surroundings, with professional medical monitoring and physician oversight throughout.

Home-based withdrawal management is not appropriate for everyone. All care is individualized and provided only after a medical evaluation determines that home-based treatment may be clinically appropriate. Patients who require emergency, hospital, or a higher level of care will be directed accordingly.

What Guides the Practice

No treatment is arranged before a physician reviews the patient's medical circumstances.

  • One Patient at a Time

Plans are individualized rather than drawn from a standardized program.

  • Discretion by Design

Communication, scheduling, and care are handled quietly and privately.

  • Continuity of Oversight

The same physician directs and monitors care throughout.

  • Appropriate Escalation

Patients who need emergency or hospital care are directed accordingly.

  • Professional Standards

Care is delivered by qualified medical professionals under physician direction.
