Withdrawal Management

Opioid Withdrawal Management at Home

Discreet, physician-supervised withdrawal care for opioids and opiates, provided in the privacy of the patient's home when a medical evaluation determines it may be appropriate.

Individualized, Physician-Directed Care

Opioid withdrawal presents differently depending on the substance involved, duration of use, and a person's overall medical history. Care at HomeDetoxMD is arranged only after a board-certified physician evaluates those circumstances.

For eligible patients, the treatment plan may include physician oversight, in-home medical supervision, medications when medically appropriate, IV fluids and supportive therapies, and continuous monitoring of the patient's condition.

The physician remains involved throughout, adjusting the plan as clinically indicated and directing the patient to a higher level of care if that becomes appropriate.

Home-based withdrawal management is not appropriate for everyone. All care is individualized and provided only after a medical evaluation determines that home-based treatment may be clinically appropriate. Patients who require emergency, hospital, or a higher level of care will be directed accordingly.
